If you find an incredible recipe, then keep it in one notebook.

Keep that notebook with your recipe books or in one particular cupboard so you always know where to find it.

I did keep a fabric swatches journal when I had an Etsy store that sold fabulous vintage/retro sheets from here in the UK.

That store is now closed and there are no plans to re-open as a fabric store.

This is a great idea to keep a record of the projects you will actually make, aside from storing lots of great projects on Pinterest Boards.

9.A ‘TO DO’ DAILY NOTEBOOK

When you have done your tasks just tick them off.

I also wrote the day and date on top of every page.

Whatever I didn’t get done transferred to the next day.

11. An inspirational journal

12. A gratitude journal

This is a great idea.

For days that aren’t too fantastic, it’s a good idea to list 5 things at the end of the day that you are grateful for, so you will end your day on a slightly positive note.

13. A book of brainstorming

My idea was that each page would be a brainstorm page.

Like that shown above.

I don’t suggest you have a journal or notebook for every single topic but more to inspire you to pick and choose which you prefer. I tend to use mind maps and lists of word association brainstorming.

14. A reading log

Record books you have read, your personal rating, quotes or info you want to remember, words you want to look up in the dictionary etc.

You could also have a section at the back for books you want to read.

You can make your own notebook, print out the sheets and stick them in or you could just write up your own and use Modern Miss Darcy as a source of amazing book related inspiration.
