Hello from Silvia!
A little time has passed since my last DIY for Craft Cafe, and I’m very happy to share again one of my paper project!
For The Origami Gift Box You Will Need:
Everything you need will be easy to get hold of:
It’s Valentine’s Day on Sunday so why not try to make your own gift box?!
What’s inside your heart? What do you want to give to your loved one? Put it in this box and give it to those who love …
I show you how to build the box!
Step 1: Cut out all the pieces
Print the template onto pink or red card stock and cut out your pieces. You could also use a service to turn the PDF into a PNG in order to upload into your Cricut Design Space if you have a Cricut Maker machine.
Step 2: Folding Edges & Adding Glue
Take the base of the box and fold the flaps along the dotted line. Fold also the strip A.
Put the glue on the flaps of the base of the box with the brush.
Step 3: Adding The Glue
Paste the strip with the base as I show you in the pic and repeat this step in the right side too. Help with finger pressure to glue the sides of the box at the base, then repeat the same process for the cover and the strips. Then allow to dry.
Of course, you can use your gift box to store any type of gift for Valentine’s Day!
If you wish to fill it with chocolates, be sure to use baking parchment or wax paper to line the box so the fat or sugar doesn’t destroy the card.
Have a fun and Happy Valentine’s Day!
Love Silvia xo
