I can NOT believe this is my final home tour in our current home. When we moved in, I remember how overwhelmed I felt. All I wanted was to finish the house. Now that it’s done, I wish I had gone slower and enjoyed the process more (especially in the beginning) … a lesson for next time, I guess.
Today, I’m here to share the studio bathroom we put in in our basement (to go with my husband’s recording studio). This is the only room where the before/after doesn’t make any sense, but I’ll show you anyway. This is the bathroom “before” …
At least you can see here what we started with and where this little half-bathroom is now located.
The face of a woman who learned SO MUCH from this remodel. Also, I still need to get those imperfect stairs fixed … haha.
The design in here is small but mighty! I am so proud of it. The wallpaper is from Hygge + West, one of my favorite spots for wallpaper. I actually got it on clearance when it was going out of stock, but I loved it so much and I had to have it.
The sconces and mirror are from Schoolhouse Electric. I LOVE them.
The sink and hardware are from Rejuvenation. I love the gold with the rustic sink!
Small but mighty, right?

The Marfa print is from Kelly’s print shop. I want to go to Marfa soon!
So proud! (never mind the one missing light bulb, OK?)
For scale. 🙂
I’ll be back soon to share a roundup of all my room tours from start to finish. To be clear, I still want to share a LOT of home projects, I am just done with the before/after tours now. Oh! Except for the big video tour—I still owe you that one! It’s kind of funny how rushed I felt at first and now I don’t want it to be over. Crazy.
Hope your day is lovely! xx – Elsie
